worship, & God’s free grace.

 ​In January 2008, the Lord prompted three families to begin meeting in one of the families’ home to listen to audio sermons dealing with the Doctrines of Grace. Thus God initiated Peninsula Bible Church. After six months and as the fellowship grew to six families, they realized the need for a larger venue. This led to rental of a local facility until the Lord provided our current church building which we purchased in 2015.
In the course of the church's growth, while attending the annual Shepherd’s Conference at Grace Community Church in California, the fledgling fellowship’s two elders sought the council of the leadership concerning hiring a teaching elder. As a result, Steve Hall became our first paid Pastor in August of 2009. Six months later Peninsula Bible Church was accepted as members of FIRE (Fellowship of Independent Reformed Evangelicals). Steve Hall resigned in 2016. In July of 2018, Jeff Gonzales was called to serve as our primary preaching pastor.
In April of 2026, the church decided to change our name to Redeemer Covenant Church, to better reflect who we are as a Confessional Reformed Baptist congregation. Our desire is to be a Congregation that is committed to Christ-Centered proclamation, discipleship, and the means of grace, so that we may grow in Christ and make disciples in Port Angeles, WA and across the globe. To Equip the Saints

Ministries of PBC include men's and women's ministries, young adults, youth and children ministries, biblical counseling, evangelism, and missionary ministries. We also are host a Home School Co-Op called Alethia. ​
​We feel very blessed with where God has placed us and anticipate His hand in using us as ambassadors of His grace and mercy to the community around us. Our prayer is that we'll be obedient to do His will..

​Our Mission is to take the gospel out and makes disciples. We seek to do this, by His grace, through evangelism opportunities, living as lights in the community, and focusing on the Means of Grace each Lord's Day, that He has given to his church so that we may be built up in the faith. 
Redeemer belongs to the Fellowship of Independent Reformed Evangelicals (FIRE). We affirm the five “Solas” of the Reformation: Scripture Alone, Grace Alone, Faith Alone, Christ Alone, to the glory of God Alone and adhere to the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith. 

Our church body is located in the picturesque town of Port Angeles, WA, “Where the Mountains Greet the Sea”. While Port Angeles is a small community, we are located in the heart of the Olympic Peninsula which is home to roughly 50,000 people.
